Organic Raw Nut Milk Powder

Quick facts about Raw Nut Milk: no animals need be involved, tastes great, lots of good protein, lactose free, usually gluten-free (if you are allergic), great for baking and cooking, healthy, soy-free (for those who are allergic).

At Aman Organic, we offer two options for you: unsweetened & sweetened (with organic sugar), with choices of: Almond, Sesame, Cashew, and Walnut.

Tips and More

~ Pour milk mixture into an air tight glass jar or container, and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. (When storing, if the milk separates, it's a good idea to dispose of it, as it's not fresh). Almond milk can be used in cereals, soups, recipes calling for dairy, and of course, as a delicious, cold beverage.

~ To make the mixture creamy and thick like dairy milk, add 1Tbs. Lecithin granules. Or decrease water for creamier milk.

~ Vanilla is a great flavoring to add to any non-dairy alternative. (Use 1 Tsp. of organic non-alcoholic vanilla extract).

~ For raw chocolate milk, add 1Tbs. of raw cacao powder, or carob powder.

~ Add 2 Tablespoons raw honey or pitted dates for sweetness, if desired.

~ Those who suffer with peanut allergies should check with their doctor first before consuming any type of nut.

Sample Recipe:

1 cup Nuts
2 cups Water
1 Banana/1 Apple
1/2 tablespoon raw honey or a few pitted dates (Optional)
Dash of Vanilla powder (optional)

1. Organic Raw Almond Nut Milk Powder



Raw almonds are considered power foods. They are a rich source of protein, omega fatty acids, B and E vitamins, and other important nutrients. Almonds have little to no saturated fat, and no lactose. It lowers the risk of gallstones, weight gain (instead makes you lose weight), high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. It reduces blood sugar level, weight and LDL (bad) cholestrol, including almonds in your diet keeps heart and blood healthy.

Almonds are also a good source of B2, magnesium, copper, manganese, and an excellent source of Vitamin E for healthy skin. 2. Organic Raw Sesame Seed Milk Powder



Did you know that half a cup of sesame seeds contains three times more calcium than half a cup of whole milk? In addition to being an excellent dietary source of calcium, sesame seeds are also a good source of manganese, copper, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1 (thiamin), zinc, vitamin E, healthy protein, and fiber.

Sesame seeds also contain sesamin and sesamolin, two substances that are thought to prevent high blood pressure and protect the liver against oxidative damage.

3. Organic Raw Cashew Milk Powder



Raw cashew milk is smooth, rich, creamy and buttery; and most closely resembles the look and texture of regular dairy milks, for those of you having cream dreams. It has a nutty flavour, that makes it ideal for use in smoothies and soups, and so many other things.

Cashews are a good source of vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, zinc, copper, iron, folate, vitamin E, B vitamins, and some calcium. The goodness in cashews can help maintain heart health; protect against high blood pressure; and can also help with fatigue, headaches, muscle soreness, and spasms. Cashews can also help to support healthy bones, teeth and muscles; and help the body utilize iron and eliminate free radicals. It is important to mention that cashews do have a high fat content. However, because of the high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid, they can assist with heart health and lowering cholesterol. 4. Organic Raw Walnut Milk Powder



Walnut is an excellent source of manganese and copper. They also contain very good levels of magnesium and phosphorous. Good levels of zinc, iron, calcium and selenium can also be found in walnut. They also contain traces of iodine. Walnuts are low in sodium. Walnuts contain excellent levels of vitamin B6, thiamin (B1) and pantothenic acid. They also contain very good levels of vitamin E, niacin (b3) and riboflavin (b2). As in the cases of nuts, walnut also is a high calorie food. It contains 618 calories for every 100 g. Walnut contains excellent levels of folate. Though walnut is rich in oil, it low in cholesterol.
